Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.
A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
